    Best Gaming Laptops in 2022

    Spark Mini Pro

Gaming laptops are on the rise, so why should you spend a lot of money on a package that's just focused on playing games, when you can play games yourself with an arcade cabinet? This Ultimate Laptop features a 1.7-inch RGB keyboard, two USB Type-A ports, two DisplayPort DisplayPort connections, two Mini DisplayPort DisplayPorts, three USB-C connections, two USB Type-A ports, two USB Type-A ports, two USB Type-B ports, an SD card reader, ethernet, Wi-Fi, and two 3.5mm headphone jacks. Who needs cords to do anything? It's like another Mini bar. We liked the idea of this 21.5-inch ultraportable, stylish laptop in 2018, but it's on a reduced sale price right now. The Synaptics antimicrobial mouse with an HDMI 2.0 port is a cool idea. $620 at Best Buy (save $150)

    Lenovo ZBook Slim 5000

If you're into your black and white with greenery, this super-thin 13.3-inch laptop will change your game-playing experience forever. With 8GB of RAM, a 256GB SSD, two fans, an AC adapter, a 4-cell, removable lithium-ion battery, and an Intel Core i7-9780HK processor, this ultraportable laptop is packed with power for gaming or any kind of app-developing work.

It's the official WIMI gaming laptop of Japanese tech company WIMI, meaning the gaming machine will spend most of its time inside your body. That sounds like a neat trick, but the 13.3-inch display lets you slide the laptop from your legs to an entire desk. If you're in a rush, you can take it to the office. It's like holding a single-core gaming laptop. Keep it in a cargo pocket or backpack and add an external speaker and speakers—its more powerful than any gaming laptop on the market. It even fits in a backpack, making it a great go-to for carrying and being carried.

Lenovo's newest ultraportable laptop also features Bluetooth 6 wireless connectivity, a single USB 3.2 Gen 2 and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and three USB 2.0 ports, two DisplayPort DisplayPort connections, four USB Type-A ports, two USB Type-C ports, and an Ethernet port. $1,399 at Best Buy (save $250)

Alienware Aurora, ROG Zephyrus, and Acer Swift 5

But, hey, gaming laptops are nice, but that doesn't mean you can use them all at once. We were excited to get our hands on these laptops and have to say, we're impressed with each one. The Alienware Aurora 2070's surprisingly powerful setup is built for gaming, plus a unique color design that gives it a more premium feeling than we had expected. It's way too thin for a laptop to have a massive heatsink, but it still has it. $1,098 at Best Buy (save $240)

The Razer DeathAdder, the other two are a little more chunky, but have plenty of features for just about every gamer. Both are ultra thin but have a powerful on-board AMD Ryzen 5 mobile processor and a graphics card with specs that bring the hardware bar to a whole new level. Unfortunately, the only port on the DeathAdder is one USB-C port, so a proprietary mousepad would not be a good idea. The Zephyrus is thin, but still gives gamers a solid power packed for portability. $1,109 at Best Buy (save $160)

We also liked the Sharp IGZO screen and IPS color display on the Razer DeathAdder. Its a feature that beats an OLED screen at a full size. The PAX color display allows users to change the color temperature of any aspect of the screen with a software tool. The IPS screen cover is customizable according to your room light. We're excited for this technology. $2,176 at Best Buy (save $700)

Gaming laptops are better for you because they're easy to handle, adjustable, and build with the future in mind. While you can spend a ton on gaming laptop, they're easy to take with you—aka everywhere.
